Fred Campbell is a recently retired Math and Physics teacher with 30 years of extensive teaching experience at the high school and college levels.
Fred Campbell is a recently retired Math and Physics teacher with 30 years of extensive teaching experience at the high school and college levels. Fred currently tutors students in all levels of Math. He graduated from U of M-Dearborn with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1981 and worked as an engineer for five years. Fred then returned to college and earned the following degrees from Eastern Michigan University: an MBA (1985), a Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with Math and Physics Endorsements (1993), and a Master of Arts in Mathematics (2016). In addition, he was the head varsity tennis coach for both the boys' and girls' teams at Redford Union High School for 13 years. During that time, he also taught tennis part-time as a registered tennis-pro at the Fairlane Racquet Club and during summers for the Department of Recreation in both Redford Township and in the City of Livonia. Besides playing tennis, Fred also enjoys boating with friends on our pontoon named "Summer Daze," traveling, biking, golfing, and especially tutoring.
